Is This What Empathy Looks Like?

Since Biden took office there has been a surge at the southern border. Such a surge that is breaking records and that we cannot keep up with.

Photos were recently shared with Axios showing the condition of an overflow facility in Donna, Tx that was recently constructed. Each of these “pods” has a capacity limit of 260 people. Recently, there was at least one that heald over 400.

Project Veritas also received leaked photos from the facility. The facility is about 185,000 sq ft and has around 3,000 people there in custody at all times.

Veritas also says that their DHS source has leaked documents saying that a caravan is headed to the US though that document has yet to be seen.

According to Fox News, Border Patrol has been releasing illegal immigrants into the US without the proper paperwork or court dates.

A CBP source told Fox that they made this decision because how things at the border have, “become so dire that BP [Border Patrol] has no choice but to release people nearly immediately after apprehension because there is no space to hold people even to do necessary NTA paperwork.”

We’ve encountered 100,000 immigrants at the border in February alone according to CBP. In response the Biden admin is looking to increase capacity at current facilities and/or build new ones.

Immigrants get lawyers, including the children. Some have spoken to CBS about the conditions the children are in.

“Some of the boys said that conditions were so overcrowded that they had to take turns sleeping on the floor,” Neha Desai, a lawyer representing migrant youth in U.S. government custody, said. Most are only allowed a shower a once week. “They all said they wanted to shower more and were told they couldn’t,”

In an interview with an illegal immigrant, the individual said themselves that they came because of President Biden. (Warning crude.)

In my opinion, this needs to stop and stop fast. Though it’s likey to get worse. I encourage you to pray for the people in these facilities, our leaders, and those who’ve yet to make it here for they face abuses most of us can’t imagine.
