White told OutKick’s Tomi Lahren that despite left-wing media pressure to exit politics after Trump’s term ends, his relationship with Rubio has deepened significantly. When asked about potential 2028 candidates, White emphasized multiple times that he and Rubio have grown very close, noting he has met Rubio’s sons and respects how the Secretary of State conducts himself. White praised Rubio as smart and capable, adding he likes Rubio’s family values and leadership style.

White called the situation tricky, saying he does not know enough about politics to comment definitively, but noted having two strong Republican candidates is not a bad position for the party heading into 2028.
